$$-$$$$, Eclectic, Temecula
Fodor's Review:
The spacious patio, with its bubbling fountain, flowering trellises, and views of Thornton Winery's vineyards, is the perfect place to lunch on a sunny day. Inside, the dining room is decked out in French-country style, and the kitchen turns out such dishes as crispy roast duck breast drizzled with ginger-lavender honey sauce. The eclectic menu is complemented by a reasonably priced wine list featuring Italian, French, and California wines -- including, of course, Thornton sparklers. Sunday brunch is accompanied by live accordion and violin music.
