Temecula's wine community recently added this luxurious resort. Locals and readers highly recommend its vineyard villas, which are spacious, and have marble bathrooms, private patios, and flickering fireplaces. Readers particularly appreciate that there are no common walls between the villas, making their stay quieter than at most resorts. The spa has 13 treatment rooms, featuring such services as Merlot Masks and Grapeseed Body Scrubs. The on-site Vineyard Rose Restaurant serves Asian, European, and Southwest cuisine. Pros: Good wine-country location, quiet private villas, beautiful grounds. Cons: Service can be hit-or-miss.

You have your own villa in the middle of the vineyard (no shared walls, total privacy). The villas are huge, beautifully furnished, have fridges, bar sink, beautiful bathroom with separate marble bath and shower with two handheld showerheads, you also get a complimentary bottle of wine. The patios open into the vineyard. The restaurant is magnificent, and the spa is out of this world.
TIP: call ahead and ask if they are fertilizing during the time you're going because when they do fertilize, the whole place smells like manure (although not where the villas are located.)
