Palm Springs and the Desert Resorts Sights

Pickford Salon Review

This small museum inside a multiplex celebrates silent film star Mary Pickford. Items on display include her 1976 Oscar for contributions to the film industry, a gown she wore in the 1927 film Dorothy Vernon of Haddon Hall, and dinnerware from Pickfair, the Beverly Hills mansion she shared with actor Douglas Fairbanks. Pickford herself produced one of the film bios the Salon screens.
