Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge

Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge Review

The 2,200-acre wildlife refuge here, on the Pacific Flyway, is a wonderful spot for viewing migratory birds. There's an observation deck where you can watch migrating Canada geese. Along the trails you might view eared grebes, burrowing owls, great blue herons, ospreys, or yellow-footed gulls.
