This classy resort, which serves a primarily gay clientele, is the only one in the desert with an in-house spa exclusively for men. Large rooms, each individually decorated, surround a sparkling pool; they have carefully coordinated dark colors, and ample bathrooms. The club room has a giant TV, plus a library well stocked with videos and books. The vibe here is social, presided over by the resort's gracious hosts. Pros: Men-only spa, elegant laid-back feel, attentive service. Cons: Pricey.

What a great hotel! This is a low-key, upscale place where we could relax and enjoy Palm Springs. The rooms are well designed, spacious, and extremely clean. They certainly are on a par with any boutique hotel. The pool has plenty of loungers and is well laid out to allow for sunning, conversation and reading.
The spa services were just great all done by well trained staff and with a complete professional manner. Our massages were some of the best we have ever had.
We met and chatted with other guests from all over the world, most of whom were similar to us (30s-40s professional). This is not a party or pick-up place, so if thats what youre looking the East Canyon is not for you. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!
