The Viceroy Palm Springs

Fodor's Review:

The first thing that strikes you at the Viceroy is its bright, sunny white-and-yellow ambience, reminiscent of a sun-filled desert day. Guest rooms for two and villas for three or more are spread out over 4 tree-shaded acres, where secluded nooks and blue-and-white-striped cabanas beg chic bikini-clad guests to hole up with a good book and a glass of the inn's delicious iced tea. The tranquil inn, just a short walk from Palm Canyon Drive, is home to the stylish eatery Citron ($$$$), which is decorated with larger-than-life-size photos of Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable. The inn is exceptionally canine friendly—they even offer dog-walking services. Pros: Fabulous spa, hot restaurant, gardens. Cons: Uneven service.
