The main appeal of this hotel is its location adjacent to the Palm Springs Convention Center and its huge swimming pool, which kids love. The terra cotta Spanish colonial-style building surrounds the largest swimming pool in Palm Springs. Rooms, which are accessed via long dark corridors, are dimly lit during the day because there's only one window in each. Those facing the pool have balconies. Pros: Adjacent to convention center, low rates, pets welcome. Cons: Kids and dogs everywhere, noisy lobby, fewer amenities than other properties, service can be lacking.
