This luxurious hillside B&B is within walking distance of many village attractions. An opulent Mediterranean-style mansion built in the 1920s, it has gleaming hardwood and slate floors, stone fireplaces, frescoed ceilings, hand-painted tiles, iron balconies, antiques throughout, and a 50-foot waterfall that splashes into a pool outside the dining room. There's even a private hillside garden planted with native flora, which has one of the best views in the area. Guest rooms are decorated to recall the movies of Hollywood's golden era. Pros: Luxurious, great views from the top of the garden path, sublime service. Cons: Noisy hardwood floors, pricey.
