This local favorite storefront café serves up a traditional Mexican menu including tastefully prepared pollo en mole poblano (chicken in a red mole sauce), carne asado, and shrimp in garlic tomatillo. There's also a selection of vegetarian items, including spinach enchiladas and salads.

Gringo Mexican food with little to no spices. If you like El Torito you might like this place. However, even El Torito's food has more flavor than El Mirasol's.

We had lunch here last week and it was really good. We ate at another Mexican restaurant while in the area(La Casitas) and it wasn't even close. This is the place to have Mexican food in the Palm Springs area. And DO NOT miss the Margaritas. They are extrordinary.
