Palm Springs Air Museum

Fodor's Review:

The Palm Springs Air Museum showcases 26 World War II aircraft, including a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber, a P-51 Mustang, a Lockheed P-38, and a Grumman TBF Avenger. Cool exhibits include a Grumman Goose into which kids can crawl, model warships, and a Pearl Harbor diorama.
