Hi-Desert Nature Museum

Fodor's Review:

The Hi-Desert Nature Museum has a small live animal display containing creatures that make their homes in Joshua Tree, including scorpions, snakes, ground squirrels, and chuckwallas, a type of lizard. There's also a collection of rocks, minerals, and fossils from the Paleozoic era, a Native American collection, and a children's room.
