Ranger-led tours of Tahquitz Canyon take you into a secluded canyon on the Agua Caliente Reservation. Within the canyon are a spectacular 60-foot waterfall, rock art, ancient irrigation systems, and native wildlife and plants. Tours are conducted several times daily; participants must be able to navigate 100 steep steps. (You can also take a self-guided tour of the 1.8-mi trail.) A visitor center at the canyon entrance shows a video tour, displays artifacts, and sells maps.
