Conveniently situated smack dab across the street from the beach and within walking distance of Main Street, this Mediterranean-style Hilton attracts a varied clientele—singles, families, couples, and business travelers. All guest rooms have private balconies; oceanfront rooms boast views of Catalina Island. A heated free-form pool, exotic landscaping, and sand volleyball court add to the resort vibe. Pros : within walking distance of several restaurants; excellent Sunday brunch buffet; oceanfront views. Cons : no self-parking; noise can be an issue.

My wife and I stay at the Hilton and really enjoyed ourselves. I think my wife's favorite part was the spa they had there, she could've stayed there for our whole vacation if I would've let her. It had a great view of the beach and a very nice pool. We ventured out into downtown Huntington and visited a few of the local shops including Tommy T's body piercing studio. Okay, so my wife had 2 favorite things on our vacation: the spa at the Hilton and the 18K Gold piece of jewelry I bought for her navel piercing from Tommy. We relaxed at the hotel for a good part of our vacation and the staff was very accomodating and helpful to us in suggesting local places to go and eat. We went to eat at Fred's as well as the Shades resturant at the Hilton. Huntington Beach was a gorgeous place to visit and hopefully we will be back soon and we'll be staying at the Hilton next time as well.
