The ovens rarely get a break here—everything is made from scratch daily. Pick up something to go here—perhaps a cinnamon-custard Danish or a "B.L.T.A." (the A is for avocado)—and then venture across the street to Crystal Cove State Park for a picnic. If you stay for a hot meal, you could try lemon soufflé pancakes or a steak sandwich oozing with melted brie.

The breakfasts are fabulous as are the delicious pastries. It's always quite packed, but worth the wait. I especially like the build your own breakfast quesadilla and burritos.
