Fodor's Review:
Sprawling along the PCH, almost every room in this Andalusia-style hotel has an ocean view as well as a private balcony or terrace. With a nod to California's Mission period, the hotel surrounds courtyards with outdoor firepots and fountains. Artwork with a beach theme is by local artists in guest rooms and public spaces. This Hyatt aims to create a village atmosphere, and to a large extent it has succeeded with the village shopping area. Beach access is via a bridge over the PCH.
