Fodor's Review:
The ensemble has risen to considerable prominence under artistic director Kent Nagano. The works of 20th-century composers, from Messiaen to Zappa, are a focus, but more traditional pieces are also performed. The orchestra plays a handful of concerts each year, in Zellerbach Hall and other locations around Berkeley.
