John Williams, owner of Frog's Leap, maintains a goofy sense of humor about wine that translates into an entertaining yet informative experience—if you're a novice, the tour here is a fine way to begin your education. You'll taste wines that might include Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Frögenbeerenauslese, a variation on the German dessert wine Trockenbeerenauslese. The winery includes a barn built in 1884, 5 acres of organic
gardens, an eco-friendly visitor center, and a frog pond topped with lily pads. The tour is highly recommended, but you can also just sample wines either inside or on a porch overlooking the garden.

The best thing I used to like most about Frog's Leap was their wines. Still love them, especially zins. John Williams' zins are just a great representation of what Napa zins should be. I'm am impressed more by John's social commitment to the environment and his community. They also have an incredible WEB site.

WOW!!! Is the only way to describe Frog's Leap. Not only have we found the Wine to be the best in Napa, the tour is fantastic as well. A very relaxing atmosphere and great people too.
