The film director's over-the-top fantasyland is the sort of place the midlevel Mafiosi in his The Godfather saga might declare had real class—the "everyday wines" poured here are pretty much beside the point. The fun here is all in the excess, and you may find it hard to resist having your photo snapped standing next to Don Corleone's desk from The Godfather or beside memorabilia from other Coppola films, including some directed by his daughter, Sofia.
A bandstand reminiscent of one in The Godfather Part II is the centerpiece of a large pool area where you can rent a changing room, complete with shower, and spend the afternoon lounging poolside, perhaps ordering food from the adjacent café. A more elaborate restaurant, Rustic, overlooks the vineyards.
