El Dorado Hotel Review
Rooms in this remodeled 1843 building strike a spare, modern pose with their pristine white bedding, but the Mexican-tile floors hint at Sonoma's Mission-era past. High-tech features like flat-screen TVs and iPod docking stations are a nice touch, and each room has a small balcony or patio either streetside or facing a courtyard where guests lounge around the pool or sip cocktails. Though its address (right on Sonoma Plaza and on top of a bustling restaurant and bar) is considered a boon by some, earplugs are advised for all but the hardiest sleepers.
