Napa and Sonoma Restaurants

Cafe La Haye

Updated 05/01/2014

Fodor's Review

In a postage-stamp-size open kitchen, the skillful chef turns out main courses that star on a small but worthwhile seasonal menu emphasizing local ingredients. Chicken, beef, pasta, and fish get deluxe treatment without fuss or fanfare. The daily roasted chicken and the risotto specials are always good. Butterscotch pudding is a homey signature dessert. The dining room is compact, but the friendly owner, always there to greet diners, maintains a particularly welcoming

vibe.

Great food, atmosphere and service

My wife and I had an excellent meal, with wonderful service. If we return to Sonoma, it will be a definite choice for another visit.

Cafe La Haye Gets It Right!

We have dined here once for dinner while in the Sonoma area and it was very good. I had the Pot Roast that was without question the best pot roast I have ever had. They have a nice wine list also, I opted for a local Zin to go with the roast which was very good. Our service was attentive and efficient, we will return to Cafe La Haye again. :)

Wine Country Charmer

I'm still thinking about the lovely dinner at this charming restaurant off the square in Sonoma. Food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, well prepared. One of my favorite restaurants in wine country.

Wonderful Sonoma food in a small setting

The food boasts true Sonoma style. With wonderful plates to flatter the outrageous wines... this restaurant is a sure pleaser.
