Wine Country Inn Review

A pastoral landscape of vine-covered hills surrounds this retreat, which was styled after the traditional New England inns its owners visited in the 1970s. Rooms are decorated with homey furniture like four-poster beds, and most have wood-burning or gas fireplaces, large jetted tubs, and patios or balconies overlooking the vineyards. Though it's not the area's most stylish lodging, the thoughtful staff and the vineyard views from several rooms encourage many people to return year after year.

    Wonderful stay

    My wife and I had a wonderful experience staying at the Wine Country Inn. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to recommend and book restaurant reservations for us for one evening and we used their complimentary dinner shuttle. We also participated in the winery tour offered through the B&B and was very pleased by the quality of the smaller wineries we visited as well as the knowledgeable tour guide. The grounds are quite scenic and peaceful overlooking a vineyard. The pool area with hot tub is a wonderful plus. Our room was a little dated but comfortable with a small fireplace, sitting nook and balcony large enough for two chairs and a small table. We had no problem with noise from other rooms. The included breakfast buffet was simple but tasty (and yes, their "signature" granola is delicious).
