Robert Sinskey Vineyards

Robert Sinskey Vineyards Review

Although the winery produces a well-regarded Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon, two supple red blends called Marcien and POV, and white wines, it's best known for intense, brambly Pinot Noirs grown in the cooler Carneros District. All the grapes are grown in organic, certified biodynamic vineyards. The influence of Robert's wife, Maria Helm Sinskey—a chef and cookbook author and the winery's culinary director—is evident during the tastings, accompanied by a few bites of food with each wine. Reserve a spot on the culinary tour ($75), which takes you through the winery's gardens and ends with a seated pairing of food and wine.
