Quivira Vineyards and Winery Review

An unassuming winery in a modern wooden barn topped by solar panels, Quivira produces some of the most interesting wines in Dry Creek Valley. It's known for its dangerously drinkable reds, including a knockout Syrah, and a few hearty Zinfandels. The excellent tour provides information about the winery's biodynamic and organic farming practices and offers a glimpse of the beautiful garden and the pigs, chickens, and beehives on the property. You can also take a free self-guided tour through the garden.

Zinfindel fans, this place is for you

A quaint winery specializing in Zinfindels, Quivera is not to be missed. Typically, people view zinfindels as too strong and bold. The wine here changed my opinion of zinfindel so much that I bought a few bottles to take home.
