Just east of the Plaza, Della Santina's serves cuisine influenced by its owners' Tuscan roots (they hail from Lucca). Daily fish and veal specials join linguine with pesto, lasagna Bolognese, and other classic northern Italian dishes on the diverse menu. Of special note are the roasted meat dishes and, when available, petrale sole and fresh cracked Dungeness crab. The heated patio out back adds to the setting's down-to-earth charms. Enoteca Della Santina, the associated
wine bar and retail shop next door, serves wines by the glass and the restaurant's full menu.

This place is overrated. The service was slow, the prices higher than they should be, and the food just so-so.
