Green themes reign in this three-story, eco-friendly B&B, built from scratch in 2009 on a sliver of prime property downtown. Much of the building was constructed with nontoxic wood and paints and recycled, reused, or reclaimed materials. All rooms include bamboo flooring, electric fireplaces, and pillowtop king beds, piled high with hypoallergenic comforters and pillows. All rooms are wheelchair friendly. Outdoors, you can relax around the fire pit in a secluded courtyard garden. The stellar breakfast (optional Nov.-April) typically includes a series of delectable, cooked-to-order dishes, including melt-in-your-mouth popovers.
