Stokes Restaurant & Bar

Fodor's Review:

This 1833 adobe building glows with well-being, its many fireplaces, booths, and banquettes bringing coziness to the numerous intimate dining rooms. Regional ingredients handled with Mediterranean techniques combine in dishes such as Monterey Bay sardines escabeche and pork shoulder with celery root gratin. Small plates are a specialty, and wines come from all over the world.
