Monterey Bay Lodge

Fodor's Review:

Location (on the edge of Monterey's El Estero Park) and superior amenities give this cheerful facility an edge over other motels in town. Lots of greenery, indoors and out, views over El Estero Lake, and a secluded courtyard with a heated pool are other pluses. Pros: Within walking distance of beach and playground, quiet at night, good family choice. Cons: Near busy boulevard.
