Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park

Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park Review

On the northern fringes of downtown, Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park preserves the site of California's 12th Spanish mission, built in the 1790s and destroyed by an earthquake in 1857. A museum in a restored 1791 adobe and a half-scale replica of the mission church are part of the complex.
