Seymour Marine Discovery Center Review

Seymour Marine Discovery Center, part of Long Marine Laboratory at UCSC's Institute of Marine Sciences, looks more like a research facility than a slick aquarium. Interactive exhibits demonstrate how scientists study the ocean, and the aquarium displays creatures of particular interest to marine biologists. The 87-foot blue whale skeleton is one of the world's largest. Tours (sign up when you arrive) take place at 11, 1, 2, and 3.
