Santa Cruz Surfing Museum

Santa Cruz Surfing Museum Review

This museum inside the Mark Abbott Memorial Lighthouse chronicles local surfing history. Photographs show old-time surfers, and a display of boards includes rarities such as a heavy redwood plank predating the fiberglass era and the remains of a modern board chomped by a great white shark. On-site surfer-docents talk about the good old days.
