Natural Bridges State Beach

Fodor's Review:

At the end of West Cliff Drive lies Natural Bridges State Beach, a stretch of soft sand edged with tide pools and sea-sculpted rock bridges. From October to early March a colony of monarch butterflies roosts in a eucalyptus grove.

  • Cost: Beach free, parking $8
  • Open: Daily 8AM-sunset. Visitor center Oct.-Feb., daily 10-4; Mar.-Sept., weekends 10-4
