Crocker Marble Palace

Fodor's Review:

Many of the stately homes along 17-Mile Drive reflect the classic Monterey or Spanish Mission style typical of the region. A standout is the Crocker Marble Palace, about a mile south of the Lone Cypress. It's a private waterfront estate inspired by a Byzantine castle, easily identifiable by its dozens of marble arches.
