Café Rustica Review

Italian-inspired country cooking is the focus at this lively roadhouse. Specialties include roasted meats, pastas, and thin-crust pizzas from the wood-fired oven. It can get noisy inside; for a quieter meal, request a table outside.

    Best Food in Carmel Valley

    Cafe Rustica is a nice little place in the village of Carmel valley. The food is very good and seriously influenced by the French. The service is very good and thje owners are very nice. A very very good place to eat

    Intrepideye

    Cafe Rustica is actually closed Mondays and not Wendnedays. I have been to Cafe Rustica many times and it has been very nearly perfect to perfect every time.

    A gem in the Carmel Valley

    Stumbled on this one after a stop at the Talbitt Vineyards tasting room around the corner on the main street of Carmel Valley. WOW! what a find.
    Great food and service. Unique food combinations. The only place we could find that had Flammekuche - an Alsation-type tart (pizza for those who have never tried one).
    We would definitely return.
