High on a hill overlooking the Pacific, this place has superb views. Accommodations include king rooms with fireplaces, suites with personal Jacuzzis, and full town houses with all the perks. The excellent menus at the inn's Pacific's Edge restaurant ($$$$) blend French and California cuisine; the sommelier helps choose the perfect wines. Even if you don't dine here, order a cocktail and appetizers in the ocean-view Sunset Lounge.
