L.A. Inc./The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) publishes an annually updated general information packet with suggestions for entertainment, lodging, dining, and a list of special events. There are two L.A. visitor information centers, on Figueroa downtown and in the Hollywood & Highland complex. The Santa Monica CVB run a drop-in visitor information center on Main Street, which is open daily 9-5, and three kiosks at Palisades Park, the Santa Monica Pier, and the Third Street Promenade; call for hours.
