Milo and Olive

Milo and Olive Review

The latest project by husband-wife team Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan (behind Rustic Canyon Wine Bar & Seasonal Kitchen, Huckleberry Cafe & Bakery, and Sweet Rose Creamery), this 30-seat bakery-cum-restaurant in Santa Monica has locals lining up for breakfast (think dill crème frâiche-smeared bagels topped with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes) and lunch (chopped salads, wood-fired pizzas). Leave room for a sweet finish, including maple walnut sticky buns and pistachio olive oil cake. There's usually a 10 to 40 minute wait for a table.
