Disneyland Hotel Review

Not surprisingly, the first of Disney's three hotels is the one most full of Magic Kingdom magic, with Disney-theme memorabilia and Disney music. Check out the Peter Pan-theme pool, with its wooden bridge, 110-foot waterslide, and relaxing whirlpool. The cove pools' sandy shores are great for sunning and playing volleyball. East-facing rooms in Dreams Tower have the best views of the park, while west-facing rooms look over gardens. At Goofy's Kitchen, kids can dine with Disney characters. Room-and-ticket packages are available. In 2009, the hotel began a three-year multiphase renovation aimed at modernizing the entire facility with wireless Internet, noise-filtering windows, and a new water play area. Updated guestrooms will have flat-screen TVs and new Disney-theme decor such as headboards featuring Sleeping Beauty Castle.

    Hotel Details

  • 905 rooms, 60 suites.
  • Credit cards accepted.
