Fodor's Review

In the heart of Hollywood's nightlife, near the intersection of Hollywood and Vine, the Redbury's dark hues and suites (the smallest is 750 square feet) are designed to appeal to the inner Bohemian in most travelers. Paisley-patterned wallpaper, vibrant Persian rugs, vintage rock posters, and fun toys like record players and vinyl liven up the loftlike "flats," which come with kitchenettes. A long maple counter with an "entertainment pole" doubles as workspace. Tiled bathrooms

have a glass-walled shower and rain shower head. Every room has a balcony; top floors overlooking the inner courtyard are quietest. The staff is amiable, and guests get VIP access to sbe-owned hot spots like Create. Cleo, the hotel's glam restaurant, has an open kitchen, crowd-pleasing Mediterranean cusisine, and talented mixologists.

Incredible hotel experience

This hotel is old-school Hollywood style at its best. The bold decor featuring stars, starlets, and deep red walls create an atmosphere of warmth and glamor. The suites are amazing--huge space, fully stocked kitchen, living room complete with turntable and supplied vinyl albums, a working combo washer/dryer, the works. The details are all carefully thought out and executed. This was the first time I've been on a business trip where we all wanted to

hang out in our rooms; had a meeting in my room and we were quite comfortable. A destination in and of itself, will definitely be staying here again in the future.

One night is not enough!

From the minute I arrived at the Redbury I felt I was not going to be disappointed and that turned out to be true upon checking in and out. The men running the valet were very professional and courteous. They answered my questions and steered me in the right direction to check in. Oh yea, everyone around was dressed to impress and I felt like I was right in the heart of true high class Hollywood. Kevin at the front desk was very kind and had me checked

in in less than I'd say 7 minutes. The hallways and rooms are very artsy, spacious and had great layouts. Not only is the interior professionally decorated in a very classy way but the construction and floor plans are quite impressive as well. Rooms have Kitchens, washer/dryers, lounge areas and oh yea, did I mention dance poles in every room. What more could you ask for? Wait, don't answer that! LOL!
