Venice Beach Eco-Cottages Review

Husband and wife owners Cynthia Foster and Karel Samson bring style and solar power together at these charming cottages in kitschy Venice, steps from Abbot Kinney's trendy restaurants and shops. Though identical in layout, the three cottages are themed: Le Bebe is retro-mod; Aunt Zoe's is cheery, country living; and Papa Hemingway retains the woodsy feel of an old saloon. Uniquely repurposed decor includes a bugle turned into pot rack and a red bird cage now functioning as a swivel chair. Artwork by locals even transforms trash liked glass shards and twigs into treasure. A cottage-wide water filtration system means you'll be showering in purified water good enough to guzzle and organic cotton linens ensure sound sleep for even allergy sufferers.
