Checking into this bungalow-style lodge is like crashing at an eco-minded and artsy friend's place: you let yourself into an apartment with fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and a communal patio. Each of lodge's four 1920s-built casitas is uniquely decorated, but all feature organic cotton linens and bamboo-fiber towels, a kitschy mix of vintage and contemporary furniture, and flat-screen TVs in the bedroom. It's a short walk to hip restaurants in Los Feliz and Silver Lake, and there are nearby movie theaters, shops, and grocery stores, too. Ideal for weeklong visits or longer.
