Montage Beverly Hills Review

The new kid on a posh block, the Montage Beverly Hills, which opened in late 2008, is a nine-story, Mediterranean-style palazzo dedicated to welcoming those who relish the highest-end stay. Rates match the seemingly endless list of amenities, including butler service for suites, a two-story spa with mineral water pool, plush bedding, and a rooftop pool and lounging area that feels like a serene oasis. Baths are mostly marble with custom-scented bath products; some rooms have small balconies to better appreciate the city and hillside views. Celeb chef Scot Conant's Scarpetta restaurant serves ultra-fine, market-fresh Italian specialties in a crisp modern dining room overlooking the hotel's fountain-filled garden.
