BLT Steak

BLT Steak Review

BLT Steak now occupies the Sunset Strip building formerly home to legendary film industry hangout Le Dôme; the space is now more casual and sparingly decorated, with a hip vibe and a vague bistro essence. Certified Angus beef is the main attraction here, which should be enjoyed after a refreshing start of oysters from the raw bar or kampachi sashimi spiked with yuzu and kumquats. Pass on the domestic Wagyu (which lacks the consistency of the Japanese product) and hanger steak (too chewy). Instead, enjoy a big red wine with the bone-in rib eye or fillet with a Béarnaise sauce worthy of a real French bistro, and finish with a killer peanut butter-chocolate mousse.
