Dan Blocker State Beach
Dan Blocker State Beach Review
Originally owned jointly by the stars of the Bonanza TV series, this little stretch of beach was donated to the state after Blocker (who played Hoss) died in 1972. Locals still know this as Corral Beach. Its narrow stretch of fine sand and rocks make it great for walking, light swimming, kayaking, and scuba diving. Because of the limited parking available along PCH, it's rarely crowded.
