House ofChan Dara

Fodor's Review:

Known for its head-turning waitresses and its rock-and-roll/showbiz crowd, this casual eatery is on the edge of charming Larchmont Village, the commercial district serving ritzy Hancock Park. Try any of the noodle dishes, especially those with crab and shrimp. Also on the extensive menu are satay (skewered meats with a tangy peanut sauce); Thai barbecued chicken, pork, or beef; and deep-fried whole catfish. Finish up with an exotic mango cheesecake.
