In a neighborhood dominated by the likes of Gucci and Prada, an affordable meal is harder to spot than a pair of sensible shoes. And that's one reason to visit Da Pasquale. An even better reason is the wonderful thin-crust pizza topped with ingredients like fresh tomato, garlic, and basil or three cheeses with prosciutto. The kitchen also excels at familiar pastas and roasted chicken. Despite talent-agency regulars, the homey Old Napoli interior and friendly staff makes
everybody feel welcome.

This is a wonderful little restaurant on Little Santa Monica; almost as good as the little place the owner's brother had on big S.M. in West L.A.. Luckily, the owner's brother joined forces, and you can still get the pasta with chicken and garlic -- just ask! Very lively atmosphere. It works!
