Fodor's Review:

A quaint surprise in Southern California, the Channel Road Inn is every bit the country retreat B&B lovers adore, with canopy beds with fluffy duvets and a cozy living room with fireplace. Rooms are old-fashioned, but each has a private bath (one room has only a shower, and a few have hot tubs). A sumptuous home-cooked breakfast is included; enjoy it downstairs or in your room. Walk a block to the beach or borrow one of the bicycles. Unwind in the lovely rose garden or book an in-room massage. Pros: quiet residential neighborhood close to beach, free Wi-Fi and evening wine and hors d'oeuvres. Cons: no pool.

  • Hotel Details: 15 rooms
  • In-room: refrigerator (some), Wi-Fi.
  • In-hotel: Internet terminal, Wi-Fi hotspot, bicycles, parking (free), no-smoking rooms.
  • Rate includes: Full breakfast
  • Credit Cards: AE, MC, V

Highly recommended if you want to be close to everything, yet far enough away to enjoy the peaceful, quiet, beautiful canyon neighborhood.
