Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel Review

Walk to the ocean side of the soaring atrium here and you feel like you're on a cruise ship. Huge petrified palm trees loom over the dramatic lobby. Though standard rooms are small, you'll find sunken bathtubs, marble counters, wood armoires, and flat screen TVs. You can order lunch poolside while lounging on stylish chaises. Ocean & Vine, the hotel's restaurant, aptly pairs small plates with select wines and has a fun outdoor patio complete with fire pits. Pets go first-class at Loews: each receives a treat upon arrival. The spa and fitness center were recently upgraded, and there's a new sushi bar with an ocean view.

The views from the west facing rooms are amazing! It's a great family hotel. On the beach and near everything Hollywood! Staff is friendly and eager to please.
