Redondo Beach's man-made seaside lagoon is a short walk away from this contemporary, five-story hotel. SoCal's most famed and scenic bike path borders the property. Adding to seaside resort feel: the Redondo Beach Pier restaurants, shops, and arcade are also within walking distance. Sizeable rooms are shades of beiges and browns set off by white duvets; most have balconies with a water view. A free shuttle is available to the two major shopping malls nearby. A favorite guest perk: stays include use of the on-site Gold's Gym. Pros: numerous resort amenities, steps from bike path, beach and pleasure pier. Cons: large, corporate stay, best dining off-site.
