Renaissance Long Beach Hotel

Fodor's Review:

Set in the heart of Long Beach's business district, directly across from the Long Beach Convention Center's entrance, the Renaissance's updated lobby is mix of bold green, orange, and yellow with digital images floating on screens behind the check-in desk. Catering primarily to convention goers and business-types, there's a morning breakfast buffet plus high-tech features such as a self check-in kiosk and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Tracht's is the hotel's modern chophouse that offers excellent fare in the most contemporary of settings. The heated patio with fire-pit is great spot to unwind; the pool and Jacuzzi deck overlook the busy boulevard. Pros: easy walk to convention center, Shoreline Village dining, and Aquarium of the Pacific. Cons: rooms facing south have best views, definite corporate vibe.
