If you're in town to cut your new hit single, you'll appreciate this near-the-Strip spot with two on-site recording studios; or if you're in the market to rock out with celebs, you, too, will appreciate this hidden retreat in the heart of West Hollywood. Many a rocker has called the Sunset Marquis home—check out its oversize portraits lining the walls of the hotel's exclusive Bar 1200. Suites and ultraprivate villas, which are set amid lush gardens, are roomy and plush
with comfy beds, rain showers, and flat-screen TVs. Windows are as soundproof as they come; blackout curtains ensure total serenity. Forty villas are lavish with extras: kitchens, fireplaces, room-size bathrooms, and on-call butlers available to handle everything from unpacking to booking spa appointments. The new restaurant concept Cavatina delights with Mediterranean-influenced small plates delivering garden (and rock star) views.

We had a great time here. They have done a remodel so the rooms are very sleek and contemporary. Service was outstanding- we kept commenting on how friendly everyone was. Location is ideal- you are right in the heart of the strip but also on a residential street so you feel a bit secluded. There is a beautiful garden onsite and a nice pool- a bit small but nice. The Whiskey Bar was great- we saw a couple of "celebs"- Fred Savage and George Clooney
there. I would totaly recommend this hotel- it's a bit spendy but you are paying for the location, the service, and the "trendy" factor.
